Hey guys,
Those of you who have known me for a while know that I've been creating a manga style fantasy webcomic series called the 'Beast Legion' for the last 5 years. Although I haven't received much of a response for it from my DA fan base I'm hoping it all changes from this year. So In order to celebrate the 5th Anniversary of the series in July I've decided to giveaway digital e-books of the first 6 chapters of the series ABSOLUTELY FREE!! You got that right. You can always read the remaining chapters of the comic freely online on the main site. I want fans to get a kickstart with these 6 books so they clearly understand what the series is about at on go. Visit the link below, scroll down to the Author notes & hit the link to download...

The series is a high fantasy adventure that focuses on the journey of an exiled Prince Xeus, who was learn to master his beast form before he can take on the forces of Darkness that have usurped his home word.I hope you guys will take the opportunity & give the comic a try. It would mean alot to me as it's my dream to have this comic reach ever fan of anime, manga & the fantasy genre out there. Those of you who enjoy He-man & Thundercats will definitely enjoy this series & as wishful as it may sound someday see it turn into an actual Anime show.

and Have a very Merry Christmas & a very Happy New Year...

So yesterday marked the two years of my webcomic series the Beast Legion. I'm not sure how many of you here on DA check it out but for those of you who do, I am truly thankful for your support towards this passion of mine.

10 years from now I never imagined the comic would gain so much momentum. I started creating the comic initially with hopes that I would have a storyboard ready for pitching at some point & in July 3rd 2010 I started a site & decided to have the comic hosted online for everyone to read. Today it stands at 99 pages, 7 issues ongoing & has won a national Award for being the first manga styled comic to come from India . I have a 52 episode series planned & I only hope & pray that I get the time & constant motivation to see this till the very end.

I know that not everyone can be please with a pure fantasy comic but it will be my constant struggle to improve both in art & in story for the coming years.

Also in order to celebrate this occasion, I have created a very special blog entry about my journey & experience in the  roller coaster world of web comics , my experiences, tips for upcoming web comic creators & some of my fave webcomics which I'm sure alot of you will enjoy. So give it a go & if you find it useful be sure to share, like, stumble, whatever you can. You can find the entry here www.thebeastlegion.com/2nd-ann… or simply click on the above anniversary banner.

Take care & have a great day everyone. And I look forward to your thoughts on both the article & webcomic in general.

... And what a week it turned out to be!!

Beast Legion bagged the Comic Con India Award for 'The Best Webcomic Series' . I'm humbled at all the support you guys have shown from across the web for the manga be it Facebook, Twitter or anywhere else. It's truly a motivating factor to keep the comic going.

I was kinda stunned when I was asked to inaugurate the WACOM Bamboo Manga tablet by none other than Wacom India's Country Manager Mr. Rajeev Nagar who was gracious enough for giving me the opportunity. Another highlight for me was a chance to meet & gift a set to Mr Chris Oliveros of the ever popular Drawn & Quarterly.

Also I was expecting a huge crowd at the Comic Con , but WOW there were 35000 people who visited the convention over a 3 day period & we sold around 400 copies in the time frame. Here's a few pics from the event.More to come...
